Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ - is a martial art, combat sport and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground positioning. The class teaches how to defeat the other person. Muay Thai/Kickboxing - is a skilled striking art that blends techniques such as kicks, knees, elbows, punches and clinch work. This class involves the use of shadowboxing, footwork skills, pad work, heavy bag training and various other conditioning drills.

Grappling techniques are used in many disciplines, styles and martial arts that are practiced both as combat sports and for self-defense.
